Mr. Mark Hapner has around 2-decades long rich experience in middleware and Java/J2EE technologies • He was the Lead Architect for Java 2TM Platform, Enterprise Edition. He has guided the overall specification and architecture for J2EE 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4. • Prior to Huawei, he was responsible for Sun's web service strategy spanning Java Standards, Web Service Standards and Sun products. He is also Sun's WS-I Board Member. • He participated in the development of the Java database connectivity API (JDBC). • He was the co spec lead of the Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) specification and spec lead of the Java Message Service (JMS) specification. • He also has led and helped creating the JBI specification.
