Current requirement is for Senior Software Engineer - C / C++ with Windows and Microsoft Visual Studio.

Company : CMM level 5 company

Job location: Bangalore

Job Responsibilities:

1. The candidate should take care of product escalations on eRoom installations which can result in production down and data loss situation at customer site and provide an immediate resolution to the customers
2. In the event of a defect in the product, the engineer should liaise with the core engineering group and provide to fix the defect
3. The candidate is measured in terms of adherence to process, respect SLA’s for defect resolution set by the organization and finally a satisfied customer
4. The right candidate has an opportunity to work in core Engineering once he/she gets efficient in handling escalations.

Requirements:

* 4+ years of IT experience.
* BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Development or related discipline
* C/C++ development experience in a Windows environment
* Ability to design product features
* Exposure to Microsoft technologies like COM and MFC technologies
* Hands-on coding and debugging experience in developing and maintaining commercial software products
Experience in working with Microsoft Visual Studio
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Strong team player

Desired Skills:
* Experience with the full software development lifecycle and experience in mission critical product development
* Relational database experience (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server)
